Robert Plant is just totally fed up with that song. And AFAIK has been so many, many years. Once he even said that he loathes "Stairway to Heaven". Can't blame him, while it is a great song, it can become boring to listen to thousand times and probably even more boring to sing it again and again.
stairway to heaven is the most abused song on the planet. if anyone say they listen to led zeppelin, they refer to stairway to heaven. many who want to learn to play the guitar want to learn with stairway to heaven. its a brilliant song with a beautiful chord progression and words, but so so so so abused that its become so hum drum from it being so overplayed.
wheres the part about Elvis Presley? i used to have that segment saved but it's now been made unavailable, and you don't seem to have that part of the interview uploaded
