OK, I'm watching this show now only because I enjoy the acting... But really, I don't understand people saying things like "what a great love it was..." Both B&B are selfish mean people... Especially Behlul... He's a useless person and I have no idea why all the women are in love with him. Except that he's good looking. That's it, nothing else!

@karang97 i totally agree with you ! Bihter is lost, i think Adnan feels that she is not in love with him, there is no passion or something like this between us. Adnan don't respect her, he forced her........about the relationship between nihal and behloul, they are cute, but for me, they are like brother and sister. Behloul will never love her like she loves him, for sure ! poor bihter, she is so cute but this storie is very sad......
@karang97 and the way firdevs resorted to that as if she doesn't very well know that he would be unable to leave nihal no matter what and that's why she chose nihal in the first place, instead of just forcing behlul to remember that he had exactly become her puppet by going to nihal as she pushed him. firdevs, such a canny character, should have known the only way would be to have him feel the same sort of guilt to bihter while saving himself. if only the scenario could be written again :)

Yes only reason bither loves adnan is because she has lost her father and the fact that he is a replacement for her father , her feelings for him when she says" i love you" she means it in a different direction . however in myopinion i think it's disgusting even if shes taking revenge against her mother.... Why would you want to marry/sleep with someone like your father ?

And even if you really do have so much place in your heart to love several people at the same time in a different way, you would chose only one of them because your love towards them wouldn't allow you to make them suffer. Bihter loves only herself, that's why she doesn't care about others. Behlul is to blame, too. But Bihter could have stoped this.

Love is something strong and important in your life, but it is not always enough to justify your actions. Love is not always worth such pain, lies and destruction. To shut down your feeling is sometimes even more heroic than fighting till the end regardless of any consequences.
@karang97you expressed it so perfectly again.precisely, she is the turkish karanina.of course, not everyone understands,not everyone knows what passionate love is."she is beyond judgement"one cannot put it more elegantly.and love is not right or wrong.love is love. (btw, i think the scenario could have been much much better especially in episodes 60s, 70s but i think the writers and the director also succumbed to the popular pressures to vilify bihter)

@karang97 :) there were lots of conversations, events,etc that just didn't fit that tragedy (only saved by supreme acting).one such conversation that could have been much more majestic was the one in bed in the "stone-house",and the story with behlul's first love (don't remember the girl's name)provided rather hastily to lay the groundwork for behlul's libertinism which not only conflicted with the substance of the character but also the beginning of the series.
@karang97 and i notice that you say "her baby".singular.exactly.i know why you say that,and she is a heroine.but about behlul..he is a failed hero.like vronsky.that is, i do see him the same way you see him, but he also fell to his guilt, and "morals".not only certainty,safety,and a luxurious life.he clinged to nihal for his guilt,and he sacrificed bihter to it.and he had to sell out bihter to do just that, to judge her as "firdevs' daughter" so that he can finally "unlove" her and go to nihal.
@sedoshka18 I can not agree more,,Behlul in a moment of insight had his first touch with innoscense in Nihal,and that was a transitional point for him,,he wanted to come clean,,start fresh.. and in his superficial judgment by making Nihal happy, compensate the betryal towards Adnan,and this,this is the key ,this is what makes me cry,and kills Bihter,its like to Behlul,now,bihter belongs to dirty ,guilty world,and bihter singlehandedly creats a closure for her love story by shooting herself.
@karang97 that is also what makes me cry most. that is, he calls their love a "sin", a "murder". and it is so true that it is only in a transitional moment of insight he has his first touch with innocence with nihal but the real innocence was the way bihter opened herself up to him. that is why i find the last scene of behlul at her grave rather weak. if it were me writing that scene, i would have had him reconnect with the real innocence, and his only love that is bihter.
@karang97 and the last scene of his at bihter's grave could have been much stronger just like the conversations especially in the latter episodes. this novel is indeed the anna karenina of turkish classics. the acting here and every character were perfect, i think. it was a huge success. if only, the scenario could match the novel better.but then of course there is the political side to it in the novel just like tolstoy's that is omitted here which devalued the story a bit.
@sedoshka18 that scene could be much better,kivank did not look good,but I think he somehow managed,some last episodes were realy messy,but I loved Behlul birthday episode,both of them were great,specially Bihters histeric laughs,sheakspirean,behlool bitterness and missery,perfect.Yes,Tolstoy,gave so many collateral caracter and stories,in inorder to clear his moral point,but now in 21 century who we remember?only Anna,I see her standing in morning fog ready to throw herself under the train.
Yes I watch the series in turkish,since I undrestand the language,reading your comments makes me happy,simply beacause it gives me hope that maybe we have more similarities than we think on this planet,and maybe -against all odds-there will be peace and mutual undrestanding in the horizone.

@karang97 :) i think people have always been divided into two: those who feel/are anna karenina and those who 'judge' her (often hidden under the hypocrisy imposed by social-moral order and even a kind of hidden jealousy, as passionate love is not everyone's share). that's why i feel happy when i read your comments too:) i think the first season was great,of course acting was superb (except the three girls),but later the scenario lost the "game within game" peculiarity of each episode.

@karang97 in short, they got it too extended. at first, it was a mixture of dumas' the count of monte cristo and hugo's les miserables. and conversations between ezel and dayi especially, and dayi's wisdom had a further anatolian twist to les miserables...but they really messed it up later on. also, i think cansu dere is way too overrated. i think a more talented actress could have given the dept of the character eysan..
@sedoshka18 hollywood soaps.But,Daye and constant reffer to past and story in story pattern sometimes waspainful to watch.season 2was tooandrogenic,girls become stereotypal:angle,witch,and faithful wife,Bade as the only modern and real caracter saved it from a corny Film Noir.Too much tears,a bit bolliwoodish,but overall i loved the three muscketear sole and appreciation for friendship,loved what Jengiz does with his eyes espe in fairwell scene and his monologe was a masterpiece.

Adnan don't respect her, he forced her........about the relationship between nihal and behloul, they are cute, but for me, they are like brother and sister. Behloul will never love her like she loves him, for sure ! poor bihter, she is so cute but this storie is very sad......

@karang97 and the way firdevs resorted to that as if she doesn't very well know that he would be unable to leave nihal no matter what and that's why she chose nihal in the first place, instead of just forcing behlul to remember that he had exactly become her puppet by going to nihal as she pushed him. firdevs, such a canny character, should have known the only way would be to have him feel the same sort of guilt to bihter while saving himself. if only the scenario could be written again :)

Yes only reason bither loves adnan is because she has lost her father and the fact that he is a replacement for her father , her feelings for him when she says" i love you" she means it in a different direction . however in myopinion i think it's disgusting even if shes taking revenge against her mother.... @karang97 It is not a crime to desire a good looking lover, when you are not in a relationship, so you won't hurt another person by sleeping around. And even if you really do have so much place in your heart to love several people at the same time in a different way, you would chose only one of them because your love towards them wouldn't allow you to make them suffer. Bihter loves only herself, that's why she doesn't care about others. Behlul is to blame, too. But Bihter could have stoped this.

@karang97 :) there were lots of conversations, events,etc that just didn't fit that tragedy (only saved by supreme acting).one such conversation that could have been much more majestic was the one in bed in the "stone-house",and the story with behlul's first love (don't remember the girl's name)provided rather hastily to lay the groundwork for behlul's libertinism which not only conflicted with the substance of the character but also the beginning of the series.

@sedoshka18 I can not agree more,,Behlul in a moment of insight had his first touch with innoscense in Nihal,and that was a transitional point for him,,he wanted to come clean,,start fresh.. and in his superficial judgment by making Nihal happy, compensate the betryal towards Adnan,and this,this is the key ,this is what makes me cry,and kills Bihter,its like to Behlul,now,bihter belongs to dirty ,guilty world,and bihter singlehandedly creats a closure for her love story by shooting herself.

@karang97 that is also what makes me cry most. that is, he calls their love a "sin", a "murder". and it is so true that it is only in a transitional moment of insight he has his first touch with innocence with nihal but the real innocence was the way bihter opened herself up to him. that is why i find the last scene of behlul at her grave rather weak. if it were me writing that scene, i would have had him reconnect with the real innocence, and his only love that is bihter.

@karang97 and the last scene of his at bihter's grave could have been much stronger just like the conversations especially in the latter episodes. this novel is indeed the anna karenina of turkish classics. the acting here and every character were perfect, i think. it was a huge success. if only, the scenario could match the novel better.but then of course there is the political side to it in the novel just like tolstoy's that is omitted here which devalued the story a bit.

@karang97 :) i think people have always been divided into two: those who feel/are anna karenina and those who 'judge' her (often hidden under the hypocrisy imposed by social-moral order and even a kind of hidden jealousy, as passionate love is not everyone's share). that's why i feel happy when i read your comments too:) i think the first season was great,of course acting was superb (except the three girls),but later the scenario lost the "game within game" peculiarity of each episode.

@karang97 in short, they got it too extended. at first, it was a mixture of dumas' the count of monte cristo and hugo's les miserables. and conversations between ezel and dayi especially, and dayi's wisdom had a further anatolian twist to les miserables...but they really messed it up later on. also, i think cansu dere is way too overrated. i think a more talented actress could have given the dept of the character eysan..

@sedoshka18 hollywood soaps.But,Daye and constant reffer to past and story in story pattern sometimes waspainful to watch.season 2was tooandrogenic,girls become stereotypal:angle,witch,and faithful wife,Bade as the only modern and real caracter saved it from a corny Film Noir.Too much tears,a bit bolliwoodish,but overall i loved the three muscketear sole and appreciation for friendship,loved what Jengiz does with his eyes espe in fairwell scene and his monologe was a masterpiece.
