@emsattt lows and highs were cranked and the mids were half way up. Dist. was 3/4 up... if I remember correctly. I achieved most of the sound through the amp setup though, a little Kustom and Behringer contraption I made.

@Metallideth94 Well now a days, its not hard to get a good sound out of passive pickups, with as much gain as emg's.Isuggest staying with the dimarzios. But a good sound depends mostly on the amp as well. Thats the main part to a good sound. But for the mostpart, id stay with dimarzio.

i have the exact same guitar as u execpt i upgraded mine to an emg 81/85 combo. its such an amazing guitar with the emg's cause now its a metal guitar that shreds easily wooh :P great job but the beginning made me shit my self cause of the wrong song

umm i actually boguht the guitar used with the emg's already in but from what i saw was that there was an extra slot too put a battery in ,bring it to a music store its much easier then doing it urself and yes they are actives but u have to pay 60 dollars to install them since there active and they have to drill a hole. lol i even have the same colour
