Not true, some cadis, mercedes and lincolns have been known for cases like this where a bumper or even a tire may be kicked or moderately hit with an object to make the airbags deploy. Also, the air bag inflates at 200 mph that way when u hit it, it has already started the deflation process. U dont actually see the inflation. U see the air bag at the early stages of deflation. I know, im a tech.
