As for Ike, I think it'd have been better if he used a 2-handed weapon, like Siegfried or Nightmare's style, as Ike uses large weapons like that often.

I see my friends run into this problem all the time when creating Marth.

I figure;

Marth is, for arguments' sake, the best character in Melee...

And Siggy is the best in SoCal4...

So I designed Marth with Sig's moveset and made him look like he belonged in the Soul Calibur Universe.

I also beefed him up with ridiculous Shield Breaking abilities and matched his voice up nicely.

It functions very nicely.

I'll likely give Ike the same move-set, but set him up with Auto Unblockables.

Ike made me lol, though I recomend making Ryu before Ike. The similarities in facial features is quite suprising in comparison.
