I was at this concert. Being a long term Pumpkins fan I had gone to see James but was blown away by Taylor. Taylor's voice was sexy, unique, & uplifting. He was dripping with confidence and passion. He was flirtatious with the crowd and the only person I've ever seen to come off as suave and humble at the same time. This was not my kind of music but after the Tinted Windows experience I will happily convert. It was the best concert I've ever seen. Sorry Billy, may I rot in Pumpkin hell.

I agree it was there first show together as Tinted Windows and they all did AMAZING! Im a huge Hanson fan but have now grown to like the music of the other guys core bands so its great and I love the way you discribed Taylor hes amazing and you got it to a T :)

Come on James, belt it louder. You can stand out a bit more with your vocal. Saw your band for the first time on a late night tv talk show, I'm Asian and found you quite intriging and found you came Smashing Pumpkin. How did you end up with this band? I hate the lead singer, horrible, can't understand a word he's singing. Sounds like a noisey garage band. I think you can find a better band. Lead sing sucks, sounds like a teen band. Lead sing need to pronounciate his words clearly if he' sings.

This song is alot better than Kind of a Girl, but the backup singer is... lacking. Could be first performance jitters though. Still, I prefer Taylor on the keyboard. His voice sounds good here though. Still, not my kind of music.

I agree with you! I was super bummed to not have him behind the keyboard too, you're not alone! They actually talked about that in an interview how they had decided to stay away from that to create a different kind of sound. However I agree with you...without it and the strong harmonies (from his brothers) the song sounds a little...empty.

@forevahY2K At first, I thought I saw that too in one of the live performances online. So different from his usual awesome, very-present performance in Hanson shows. I felt he held back a bit or what. Not much natural, flowing, comfortable movement.Anyway, maybe they're still working on their dynamics as a band...And Hanson has a different sound, Tinted Windows has a different sound, so maybe you perform differently.

I think this is a pretty good first performance. I think a lot of Hanson fans will be skeptical, particularly when it comes to vocals, because they're used to three brothers with very complementary voices. But the songs sound good, they sound like any other band with one singer and three musicians - the lead is much better than the backup. But the songs are really fun, and I would rather listen to this than the charts today. Good job guys!
