@DVGTS1 Michael is in effect granted another year to prove his mettle; wether he can turn it around remains to be seen but my guess is no. When you consider so many who have failed in a comeback attempt, Michael is merely a victim of nature. Hopefully he will be able to do it but I have my reservations.

@JMGV196 Kubica would never win a championship in a Renault. I think BMW Sauber of 2008 was better than Renault post-2006 when Alonso last drove for them. Right now the only real contenders are Redbull, Ferrari and McLaren; not even Mercedes (may be?) or Renault, Williams or any other mid field runners from last year will have a strong chance. I think may be Mercedes has an outside chance only because Ross Brawn and Michael/Nico are a good package. We will see at Bahrain how competitive.

There is no photographic evidence of this either. He has only driven the 09 car once at a street demo in Malaysia.

i think its a private test, so under the regulations, they would not be allowed to run slicks until official pre-season testing starts.. i wouldn't even be surprised if those were GP2 tyres.

not really.. but i think there is an exemption cause this footage was from the launch of the car.. they have to make sure it works first before they do official testing... so its a one-off event.. i know ferrari do a similar in their track... and i think this was at rockingham in the UK ;)
