To leave more than 80,000 soldiers to die is unforgivable. What was so important in Europe in January of 1942 that our military couldn't provide resources to our soldiers so that they could defend themselves? Apparently they were considered expendable by some in the govt., which makes the govt. just as bad as the Japanese. The "rescue" in 1945 was little more than a PR stunt and is nothing to be proud of.

Excuse me, there was a little battle called PEARL HARBOR. Almost our entire Pacific Fleet was destroyed 1-month earlier (or did you forget that December 1941 was 1-month earlier). What reinforcements we had to send to Asia were stuck in the U.S. unable to be shipped, nor did we have ships to 'rescue' those soldiers trapped in Asia.

I saw this movie just yesterday,i was too late to witness the whole movie,it made me cry and felt so bad of what had happen to my countrymen and Americans soldiers,they fought for the freedom which my country had long enough been waiting, many generations came and it was the Americans who also fought and join us to be free.
