indeed , here we cant say anything !, what about the root pass (Short arc as we can see it on the vid, was any guided laser used?) the bevel is already shaped on a U joint (original beveling geometry?)
@JustineBieberxoxo well! the circular and longitudinal SAW requires not nor tracking neither guided system ! only when the path of welding is not constant (spirale pipe line, SAW on pannels). The regular SAW set up is enough !

really need of laser guided system? for a circular joint . what the benefit ? it s necessary tho for spiral welding of pipe line only !

lasers are alright till you come upon a nice shiny sanded spot. then your head takes a crash into the tank lol
