I have a similar situation. Recently a robin nested itself up near the roof of our porch, laying three beautiful blue eggs, and just yesterday one of them hatched. While I didn't get to see it hatch, I saw the tiny little bird, as it sat there, and it was absolutely adorable. Whenever I made a noise it would lift it's head up, and open it's beak, and it was utterly fascinating.
We had a nest in a dresser that we left outside because we were moving, and when we went to go move it to put it inside there was a nest:D
but, one day we noticed a bird that wasnt suppost to be there, and that bird cracked all the eggs. we went to go see if maybe they would make it but sadly it was to early for them and they didnt make it.
They came out of the hard shell with great effort, they've already learned how to face their lives with strong will of survival. Human being should let their kids know how lucky they are and watch other animals's process of fighting for life will inspire us to live more seriously and more precious what our Lord gave .
me and my friend saw a nest with eggs in it so me and my friend got a stool and took out the eggs we juat wanted to keep them warm in my house but unfortunutly
we accidently broke them (I AM SO SORRY MOTHER BIRDY AND MY REALLY SORRY FOR THE BABY BIRDS WAAAAAAA)+ i came home from my house today and guess wat i saw:i saw a hatched egg near my front door'!
I'm rasing an egg now. And before you all go crazy, here's the story. Me and my friend fed this bird bread and stuff since it was a baby. Well, the bird grey up and it had a very odd sploch of missing feathers. anyway so it had eggs under a pine tree by my house, but two of the eggs rolled off by my lake. I'm raising one and I'm hoping my friend will be willing to raise the other. If anyone can help, let me know. I've been keeping it incubated and such and I hope it's ok. I even take it to class
A friend of mine found a nest of robbin chicks in a flower pot hanging on his porch. They were adorable, but no one was sure how to go about watering the flowers...fortunately, they grew up and left before the plants died.
