@cnestudy1 The race to the bottom will drain the federal and local treasuries of the cash they need to operate. To have a civilized country with good schools and infastucture you need tax revenue. With only a limited number of citizens able to contribute to fund the entire nation America will fail. My local school district has had a levy on the ballot every year for 6 years now with it passing only once. If the trend is not reversed we will see this mud hole standard in less than 25 years.

What I see is a pattern of rising taxes on the citizen combined with lower wages. These two factors will feed each other till there is just nothing left. Better wages equal lower taxes. Thirty years ago your average working person earned enough to be a contributor. Now the majority do not make enough to pay federal tax. Offshoring everything has created big holes that the citizen here who does make enough will have to pay.
