Hank III did not write this song Those Poor Bastards did. Hank covered this song because he is a fan of their music, so before any one else comments on how much better Hank is think about what are you saying and realize Hank is a fan of their music. Also when they opened for Hank, Hank came out on stage and sang with them on more then one song.

the song is called "the bright side" and the real studio version will be on the album "satan is watching" that comes out this october. the version on country bullshit is a weird recording added to later pressings as a bonus track. yep.
