OK here's your answers:

1. We did it 6 times, not once.

2. The reason we haven't gone back is the same problem remains, it takes a rocket the size of a mountain (the Saturn V) to get a very small payload to the moon. Chemical rocket technology has not changed that much. We don't have the capability of getting anything big enough to even think about setting up a base, and going there to bring back another sack of rocks is expensive, dangerous, and stupid.

Very impressive footage of a very impressive happening! The Apollo program and the 400.000 people involved were one of mankinds biggest efforts.

Like it or not, but Neil Armstrong, Edwin Aldrin, Charles Conrad, Alan Bean, Alan Shepard, Edgar Mitchell, David Scott, James Irwin, John Young, Charles Duke, Gene Cernan and Harrison Schmitt landed on the moon.

No hoax, just science, good engineering and a lot of courage made it possible.
