Tugboat Annie used to be shown on TV, but Min and Bill never did in the UK. Marie Dressler was unique, she always stole the show with her acting, which seems so natural and real, a gift the best actors have.
Min and Bill is a film based on my grandfather's Cousin Lorna Moon's novel Dark Star, adapted by Frances Marion and Marion Jackson. Ive never seen this before, Thanks for uploading it.
I first discovered Marie Dressler in 'Dinner at eight' and have been searching for films of hers since, there have been a number of these films released during the last 2 years, but only on region 1 (USA), I'll be sure to watch all of this and if all goes well I'll be buying this soon I hope, thank you for posting!!
hoping you've seen her in Anna Christie. That was where I first saw her and my Mom exclaimed "oh Marie Dressler!" the minute she appeared on screen. Not hard to understand her enthusiasm. Not to be equaled.
So happy to have found this, thank you!!!!

@missuniworld No doubt she deserved it. Her performance in this movie was marvelous - like all she did.
