I grew up in a Christian home and as a kid, it's amazing to look back on how much faith they have compared to many of the adults. My parents split back when I was in grade 6, the first sunday of november. I was trying to fight everything all on my own. Depressed, sometimes I thought about different ways I cuold end my life painlessly, but now I'm glad I didn't because God showed me that there's so much more to live for than just depression.

@TheRockngrl98 Bad things happen because this is a broken world created from the consequences of our actions that us as humans choose. When we sinned and fell from eden, we brought all of creation with it and as a result, we have a broken world where "natural" disasters happen. Situations in life are sometimes inevitable... but we can choose how we react to them.

@TheRockngrl98 We can't rely on the things around us to not change because this is an ever changing world. But we can always rely on the things that never change. God. If you come to know and love Jesus Christ, there is no guarantee that your situations will change... but even if everything in life ends up crappy... you can always count that God will never turn his back on you. Though the people around you might hate you, God never ever will because God is love and he loves you with all he is.

Life is suposse to be gift, and the thought of thowing it back in God's face, hurting Him and my family/friends, gave me a reason not to go. I'm glad I didn't. One of many benefits of being a Believer is that you feel this incredible joy from time to time and it feels great! =^D
