Hey I was thinking about becoming a marine, but I'm not sure if I should go in enlisted or as an officer. I have a bachelors degree. The recruiters and a couple of buddies of mine told me to go in enlisted because it was more fun and hands on. Then they said i could switch over to become an officer after a year of two. what do you think?

Well first, army ocs is a joke compared to what you may experience in quantico, Secondly as an officer you will lead men into combat, if you are accepted into the program you will need to prove that you can lead, mind you that one out of every 3 that go to marine corps officer training get dropped from the program

well first, whatever army ocs does is a joke compared to marine corps ocs in quantico, second, if you get accepted to ocs, you have to prove to your staff that you can lead marines otherwise you get ejected, about 1/3 of the candidates at usmc ocs get sent packing for whatever reason. its no joke, they will rock your world. s/f
