I never really thought about the sparkle thing- I was just kind of like "oh. He sparkles.. that's nice." But now that I think about it, that is a bit weird...

Yes, Spiderman. You see like webby things attacking his DNA. I think. But, again in the third one the black goop is seen getting into his body.

I never like the sparkle factor either. I'm glad someone else feels the same way. =)
