Excellent content, thanks for posting - But too long and too boring.
Get the key points over quickly and dynamically. i.e what the gov't have done. Why it's wrong. what Prospect are doing about it, and what we the victims can do to help.
Unfortunately video froze once while loading up and to be frank was a little longer than it needed to be much as Dai outlined the issues concerning future and present CS and public Service Pensioners quite effectively a few on screen examples and Power Point pages would be more acceptable.
Personal touch from Dai OK but would much prefer a short video, 5% of time, introduction from him follow by a clear Powerpoint with a clear voice over ( by actor ?)
Sorry to cast a dampener on this new method of communication, but I do not see the point of viewing a video or listening to a speech that takes 7 minutes, when I could read the same text on the screen in two or three minutes if it were provided in the oldfashioned way. And I can even print text out, or save it for easy future reference, which is not easily done from Youtube.
Really good information and easy to understand ,very helpful for Reps dealing with members .Quality could be better, the quality does not detract from the content which is excellent, more please
Thanks for all the postive comments. This a very much an experiment to gauge the appetite for this style of communication and which is not intended to replace, but complement our existing channels of communication.
We understand and accept the comments on the sound quality of the production and will try to deal with these in future broadcasts.
Those of us with funded schemes such as BT are being expected to make a major contribution to the shareholders of the company. In BT's case this has been estimated by the Stock Market as £2.9 billion. The totality of this benefit to companies with funded schemes and the ability to use either CPI or RPI is a move to use CPI would save them ove £70 billion. Meanwhile if I live another 20 yeaqrs it will cost me about £95,000 in lost payments.
Sound quality of narrative could be better but delivery calm and professional, well done. Hopefully may make non members see the benefit of membership as we need greater membership in my view.
I agree with the other comments. This is a much better way of communicating than putting everythign in email attachements, but can you improve the sound and lighting? Or have you thought of doing it as a podcast?
I like the way of communicating the info, and I'd like to see more this way. I agree maybe up the production a smidge. Less background noise/light and leave the text on the screen a little longer, I was scrabbling for the pause button.
...and improve the sound quality please - this sounds like it was recorded in a cafe.
That aside, this should be good way to communicate, but why are there so few views? That must be quite reassuring from a management point of view - "only 200 bothered to watch this, therefore we know that they aren't bothered".
Good stuff, Dai. I agree that this is a good way to put info out to members - I've publicized it around my own Branch. Can I suggest going for slightly higher production values in the future though - like not being filmed in front of a bright window.......

I'm afraid I can't hear Dai speaking at all - although the intro and breaks are fine.
