When you hear the "whooooooooosh" sound with flames you can pretty much say its a kit on there. Rotarys do throw flames out but nothing like that or for that duration, if it was a straight pipe it would be WAY louder than that.

Actually there are 2 rotors each in their own separate chambers, each measuring 654cc. 2x654= 1308. 1cc= 1mL. 1000mL= 1L. 1308mL= 1.3 L. Do your research first dumbass

Dats a flame kit, trust me. cause the engine sounds bone stock, any rotory dat spits flames is a ported rotary wit aftermarket exhaust, and when it idles it will sound like a str8 up muscle car, this RX8 is obviously stock. It may have a air intake at most. Rotories do spit flames, but only highly tuned rotary engines will spit flames, and if u watch some Rolex Racing videos u can see how flames really look when they come out of a highly tuned rotary, these flames have a pointy look. Its a kit..

This car obviously has a flame thrower kit. (I do not know everything about cars, but...) What does having high compression have to do with shooting flames?

your rx8 is not highly tuned anyways. rotaries usually back fires by many reasons one of them is that their eccentric combustion chamber is not round. Because it's not round, the air fuel mix isn't completely burned by the time the rotor is about to begin the exhaust cycle.

There is definately a flame kit bud. Firstly, you need more than 500 hp let's say to shoot flames. And 2nd, when a car shoots flames it's like "bang, bang" and the flame ain't so big and long lasting. Try searching in youtube for flaming skylines or supras to see how it is. Anyway, this RX8 is so sweet! From all aspects! :)
