he didn't want to be there becase the whole team was burdening him with doin eveything and he needed people that could actually play so he didn't have the whole crappy team on his back and he could not be the only one making plays and trying to win games by himself. People don't realize that Pierce wanted to win, not for himself, but for this great old team. KG and Ray helped a lot, but it's pretty obvious that they wanted to win for their legacies first. Pierce wanted to win for Boston first, and second for his own legacy. He got both.

Kobe always averages high amounts of points, assists etc. and this guy, he's something different. Stop comparing them. Kobe is way better then him and he will be better. Kobe is a legend. Pierce had a nice season i must admit, but he will never be better than Kobe. If someone says what does Kobe have that Pierce doesn't, the answer is EVERYTHING. Still, Kobe is way more selfish than Pierce, he wants do end up his way, and he succeeds in that !
