I actually happen to like the movie. It was beautiful , though gruesome. You never even saw it, did you? And the cherry on top of the cake IS the music. I´m a discerning viewer, by the way. I can enjoy anything from Bergman to the Crouching Tiger. And I loved that soundtrack too. BROADEN YOUR HORIZONS, FOR GOSH SAKES! Korea produces good stuff as much as Europe. WATCH the movie! THEN make smart comments as much as you like!

For all I know, this is a lullaby for dead children. Feel free to cry, you got the idea without even knowing what the song was about, good for you. Dead children is what the movie is about, actually. Care to watch it? If it were a Hollywood product, it would be a future classic, though probably too commercial for my taste. Five stars to Korea.

So, you found the lyrics too. I did consider withdrawing my comment, but on second thought decided not to. After all, in the context of the movie this actually does refer to dead children. A whole bunch of them, in fact. Technically, I stand corrected though, if that makes you happy. Contextually, I still win, since I've seen the movie and know where this is tune is used. And if Kubrick could use Purcell in The Clockwork Orange, why not give the Koreans a break? Still stupid, am I?

stfu, the movie isn't about dead children at all, it is about Lady Vengeance getting her revenge as well as trying to get her sin forgiven.

Don't just watch the movie, try to see what the story is about and what the director is trying to tell you.

Hollywood won't make it a Future Classic, because this movie is made for the Director and Hollywood would just fuck it up like removing the violence scene or make them more gore for the audience.

Actually, your'e being a little simplistic. Summing up this movie in one sentence is inevitably going to result in leaving a lot of important stuff out, thus doing it a great injustice. In fact the film is very much a study on the essence of justice/injustice in relation to various degrees of guilt/innocence. And in a parallel reality the dead kids are indubitably present, though mostly not visible. You're damn right about Hollywood: Of course they'd fuck it up. I shudder to imagine how.
