  • After you've painstakingly crafted the metal frame, throw it away, buy a PolyTune and use your iPhone for actual phone calls. :)

  • .....or you could buy a polytune pedal a lot cheaper xD

  • an expensive one :D

  • Wear ur SAFETY GOGGLES!! ;)

  • This is the coolest video I have watched in a long time =D

  • i'm more interested in this to see how to get my iphone into my amplifiers fx loop/signal chain. With a loop pedal i can loop any sounds i can get out of my iphone as well as using it as a microphone and looping that out of the amp.

    :))))))))

  • do you have to practice often for those perfect out of round holes on a drill press

  • dude you got way too much time on your hands. how bout making an Iphone bird house

  • would rather pay the 100 bucks for the actual pedal instead of having the risk of breaking my iphone when i stomp on the box

  • Would that pedal work with other music / sound processing apps?

  • The things cost $80. Why waste the time building an adaptor for an iphone. Then you still need to buy the app and and iphone. Not a great tuner anyway.

  • I am so going to build this myself, might not end up using it but just for the sake of it, I think it's awesome!

  • Anyone know what capacitor and resistors are used here.

  • Could I get a wiring diagram please?

    Awesome Vid!

  • sounds like a dutch guy ;)

    like me :D

  • @AppleBossSteveJobs He is danish though ;)

  • Or you can buy a phone that you can talk to people, without any games or stupid stuff, and buy a PolyTune with the rest of the money!

You'll even have enough money for pizza after buying the PolyTune!

  • or i could just go out n buy the polytune saving me from having to buy and make all that crap.......................

  • @zZLUKO13Zz @guysapire or you could just shut your mouth and not state the obvious.

  • @3amsleep or not hahaha!!!

  • has anyone actually tried this?

  • this is awesome that TC Electronic is actually showing you this

  • i wanna see myself mounting this thing together after and before every gig we play :D

PS: Would have to hope my mum won't call during tunning :)

  • @cikane Thats what airplane mode is for ;)

  • A schematic would be helpful for wiring the caps, resistor, switch, jacks. Fun vid though.

  • is the iphone version A accurate as the polytune pedal itself?

  • Genius~

  • Kunne du ikk' ligge en opskrift ud her? (komponenternes navne, evt. hvor man kan få fat i dem henne)

    Fedt stykke arbejde :)

  • -_-'

  • LOL that's awesome!

  • Joder que chapuza!!

Te compras un iphone y no eres capaz de comprarte el Polytune.

    Rio.

  • ...Nice hair

  • TC Should make this a product

  • @gunlak totally agree!

  • @gunlak : they have =)

  • Nice job. I guess it requires quite some work (and tools) to carve out a stomp box from alluminium, but it was a nice 'how-to'.
