  • The irony is that the Christian does in part 2 what he was pretending the atheist did in part 1.

  • I'm a Christian but I totally disagree with this video. First of all, philosophy isn't opposed to Christianity -- and it can actually equip us better to understand our faith. It helps us learn how to argue rationally instead of circularly, which is crucial.Plus, philosophy was behind a lot of crucial developments in Christian theology (like the doctrine of the Trinity or Christ as fully God and fully man).God gave us intellects for a reason.Read some Augustine of Hippo...Church Father, that one!

  • I think "Christian" should be renamed "Christ Follower"

  • @AshMattPier09 But "Christ" means "anointed one"(Christ was anointed by the Holy Spirit for his mission of salvation);so when we call ourselves "Christians" we aren't just saying "followers of Christ: we're expressing our anointing by the same Holy Spirit that flows from His death on the Cross! We're "little Christs" to the world, images of him spreading the Gospel by how we live (I hope!) and speak. As members of his Body, we're also "anointed ones" in the Holy Spirit, by the Father, from Christ.

  • Excellent message. Don't bother reading those other books, you won't understand them anyway! It was also excellent the way they portrayed the non-christian as a wanabe intellectual, because that is the truth. If your thoughts haven't led you to Christ, just how intellectual can you actually be? Theres 2 types of people in this world. Christians, and self loathing dullards!

  • Very good video with an intense message. Those who have an ear, listen to what GOD is saying!

Being a CHRISTIAN is about a RELATIONSHIP with GOD ALMIGHTY. Many so called christians are hooked into the ritual of going to a church building for 2-4 hours a week making a quick prayer which DO NOT reach the ceiling of the church and then going home to continue with their unrepented sinful life.

Jesus Christ died and lives FOREVER to restore the broken relationship between GOD and MAN. Amen!

  • Okay...no non-chrisitain I have ever met has ever read dr.phil....except if were talking about phil cary...but I doubt you've heard of him

  • ... lol what a sad thing.

don't try to learn about all the world has to offer, just read one book and your set!

    wow.

  • i know that the guy wasn't trying to insult non chriristion, but it would be cool if ever one belive in him, cuz if you don't you end up.... some where dark gloomy red and fire.

  • I hate how the Christian in this video is shown as the guy who has his whole life figured out, and doesn't have anything to worry about...

If anything Christians are the ones with the problems... why else do we seek Christ? if we had a perfect life I don't think we would see the need for Christ, you know?

  • well if you think you don'ty did christ, then your screwed. cuz most people that don't need Gog r just so stupid cuz people that belive in God and ask God in their heart end up in heaven and the other side people end up in HELL

  • good stuff, lol

  • lol

  • I don't think he was trying to make non-christians look like idiots, he was simply showing that people stuff themselves with worthless things trying to make themselves happy. If you think of all the things that Jesus Christ offers us; forgiveness, love, hope, security, salvation. Someone who would chose to not take it is rather silly.

    God bless

  • AHAHAHA! This guy is either an idiot or a troll! xD

  • If that is true, those Priests were misguided. The New Testament refers to "servants." But, it's supposed to be understood that we are all servants of God. Besides, "servant" has a much different meaning than "slave."

  • Ephesians 6:5

[ Slaves and Masters ] Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.

  • oh gosh, all of you commenters shut up, especially if you don't understand the concept, it's hilarious and true.

  • ummmm, what concept are you talking about? the one where he talks about how its hard to read other books and understand em so just read the bible with an uncritical mind? i like how dr phil is the writer in this one... hehe....

  • auras exist

  • Ummm... Well magnetic fields exist. In reality they don't tell us much about a person though.

  • The Bible covers all those things about stoning disobedient children right beside the part were it asks Christians to pay 10% Tithe.

  • Oops! Stoning disobedient children is in the Deutoronomy 21 where as 10% Tithe is in Leviticus 27.. They are not "right beside" hence we can ignore the one that resonates with our in-built notion of morality.

Stoning kids is bad! Any fool knows that! But how does every fool who hasn't read the Bible know that?

  • Try reading the New Testament. Christians believe that when Christ came, He changed everything. One example in Matthew: "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." Christ's NEW laws are the basis for Christianity. It's Judaism that only follows the Old Testament.

  • @meghansav “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven... Matthew 5:17-19

  • @meghansav There are two parts to the laws of the Torah, moral law and sacrificial law. The first define sins and their punishments. The second are the specific procedures for repenting of those sins, when and how to make sacrifices in the temple. Jesus claimed that he had come to fulfill the sacrificial law, so that no more sacrifices would be needed. But he clearly stated that the moral law must be upheld. This includes atrocious things like being sentenced to death for working on the sabbath.

  • Yay! I don't have to think anymore? Yayyyyyy *starts to drool on the carpet* Terrorists do the very same thing, perhaps if they thought about their lives for a moment they couldn't blow themselves up, but of course that would require *gasp* questioning things.
