now build a radio controlled pressure regulator, and then its possible to build a remote controlled pneumatic powered vehicle, without having a tube running to it. Also, a pressure relief might be a good idea, or you'll have a dry ice bomb if you don't apply throttle for a period of time haha.
@Rickycooke1gmail check out: Sterling sngines. The idea has been around for 100 years. It just goes to show how people are kept blind, so they can milk you for your cash with some other technology. also youtube "lawn mower runs of coffee"
@analyzingfunny Except that stirling engines work off a temperature differential affecting air density, whereas this is purely a direct pressure (air pressure) driven engine.
@Dth091 ive seen modded 2l plastic soda bottles rated at upwards of 90 PSI, so this guy is definately in the clear, being that it takes about 20psi to make the engine start moving
you should make one that releases a cloud of co2 fog

You know.... That's not a bad idea! How big of a dry ice chunk did you use, and how long did it run?
randommagnum 2 years ago
i just crushed up an ounce or 2 and it ran for 3 to 5 mins but after a few minutes the water freezes around the dry ice bits

Those bottles are massively strong.
They can take loooads of pascals worth of pressure.
