I know you get this all the time but your a very engaging teacher and I've found your videos really interesting even before I started taking chemistry.
The curriculum they use in year one college now doesn't build the same foundation that you made in your videos (stability and energy) -- they're more interested in the math\history, so your videos are a great supplement to it.
Great video except you got 2 things wrong, firstly you say the mass of an electron compared to a proton is about 1/10,000th whereas it's actually roughly 1/1836th (1/2000th to simplify) and secondly you say that the sodium atom with an atomic mass of 23 is the isoptope whereas it's the other sodium atom with an atomic mass of 22 that is the isotope.
@Retard0800 Um...ok...the magnitude of mass difference is between proton and electron is 10-27 to 10-31 kg...that's about a 10 000 difference, but when you consider the masses exactly, you have a point. But not with the isotope statement; both of the sodium atoms are isotopes OF EACH OTHER. One isn't the isotope and the other is not.
great lesson! I watch these videos as substitution for studying textbooks since Textbooks are rather boring! HAHA BUT I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THE DIAGRAM IS CRUDE HAHA!
I find it amazing at how much I have seen the same thing over and over and still missed the minor but important details. I have never seen a chemistry lecture so concise and practical. REALLY great.
Thank You and good Job

In terms of mass, he's ten thousandth that of a proton!

If the nucleus is the size of an ant in center field. How big is the electron sitting up in the seat?
