  • good stuff

  • good points!

  • digging the video, just about to pick up one of these for when I move out (leaving my beloved ar with my dad)and wanted to make sure it could be fired with the stock in the folded position. You have any videos of you shooting it with the stock folded? also what kind of sling would you recommend?

  • Nice video, well done!

  • That AK looks awsome.

  • I stil want an underfolder just for the collection, but I really prefer the wire side folders for the very reason you described. I have a Romanian side folder on my MAADI and I usually throw my sling over my shoulder in a hurry. When I press forward the sling stabilizes the rifle very well, and gives you a cheek rest of sorts.

  • so do you see a point to a truck gun? I have mixed feelings on the need or utility of one after reading "The Ayoob Files" book.

  • you could get one of the wood vertical grips to hold it better

  • nice video!

  • lovin that ak

  • Thanks for the tip, can't help but notice you're wearing a "Freestyle" watch. Can't beat the PX special, mine refuses to die. I have upgraded for a Gshock but mine just died and now I'm back to rocking the Freestyle.

  • Cool tip.

Holy crap, you are young, Miller. Got your head on straight for a relative noob - just ribbing. Keep up the good info!

  • Wouldn't the top part of the handguard/gastube get hot after a mag or so?

  • @CarlRF99 Yes. In fact, the top of the handguard can catch on fire with extended periods of rapid fire. I do not think extended periods of rapid fire is a good idea without the stock anyway though.

  • AWESOME AK

  • Great tip! You can also use the sling strap as a side mounted forward jerk grip. In that sense it acts like those old M-10/Mac10 forward jerk straps. It helps too, but you have to be running a 2-point for that to work OR have a jerk strap installed up front. (Nice way to get around the "vertical grip no-no" laws as it is a sling mech.)

  • That. is retarded. if you're going to point shoot like that you might as well have the stock outl.

  • @ChazOneZeroSeven There may be a situation when you can't extend the stock in time. Lots of people carry AKs like this as truck guns. You may need to shoot fast to get the initial threat off your back so you can regroup for a second to get your stock deployed.

  • @millerusaf good pointlol

  • @millerusaf Agreed. The SAS practice room-clearing with their MP5's firing from the hip and using the flashlight as a target designator. I'm glad you covered this subject because mine is a side-folder.

  • @millerusaf nice vid. i have a question sorry if it sounds stupid. but i hear that alot, people say this or that makes a good 'truck' gun. now where i live it most definitely isnt legal to keep an ak in your vehicle. where is it generally ok to have a 30+ round death machine in your truck?lol

  • @millerusaf i found if you held the gun hip style and grab the mag with your support hand you can rapid shoot and hit a man fairly consistently out to 30 to 40 feet. if your doing rapid shooting. cupping your hand on the mag gives you greater control for rapid shooting. with or without the stock folded :) oh. and also dont forget, you dont always have to be accurate to make the enemy think twice. 30 rounds of rock and roll over his head alone would keep their heads down

  • I am just wondering will waxing the ammos help penetrating targets?

  • You can shift the safety, its just a bitch under calm circumstances, I would hate to do it when I'm under threat

  • I cant escape Fabio wtf

  • @millerusaf oh hes the guy in the cheezy adds before your video and other partners lol

  • those under folders are pretty cool

  • I think i might invest in one of these Ak's! looks sharp as a tac!

  • I recently bought a Hungarian AMD65. It has the 12 inch barrel with a 4 inch pinned muzzle brake. It has a lot of the same attributes that your underfolder has. It would make a great car gun in times of trouble. What I like about mine is that it will fire hollow points without any fuss whatso ever. I enjoy your videos, don't let the goofballs get in your way.

  • i wish i lived in the U.S

  • make a video shooting it like that

  • Nice tip about the safety while the stock is folded. Keep making great vids!

  • Welcome to Tips and Tricks with your host, Miller!

This should be your intro! hahahaha

Thanks for the vid, man! ;-)

  • l33t
