I have same motherboard got it for super cheap! I only have one problem. When I run all 6gb of ram at 1600MHZ I get a bsod. When I run only one stick (2gb) it does not bsod.
Yes Windows 7 x64. I bought a new power supply hoping it would fix this issue. It still occurs when all 3 memory modules are running @ 1600MHZ speed. If I keep them at 1333mhz computer never sees a BSOD. Or as before if I take 2 sticks out and keep one in it will work at 1600mhz, just not all 3 at once.
can you please help me i know its offtopic i need help how much power suply i need for i5 2300 2.8ghz gskill 8gb rigjaws 1600mhz sandy bridge ram XFX 6870 37 inch screen lg 1080p 1TB westernDigital caviar black sata 6gb/s cpu cooler cooler master V8 4 with 6 fans blue led dvd rom no floppy disk ASUS P8P67 mother board?? i suppose 1200w how much do you think i will need?
@micropage7 Great board I used it to replace a cheap MSI 770/690. Much nicer than MSI. I now bought a Biostar T X58A and for the price I could not complain. Unlike the over priced Asus yet theres no real features I missed out on. The Intel CPU is overpriced but it's the difference I wanted.
The 4 Pin Molex connector on the motherboard, I think that is for the AMD CPUs is it not? Something to do with if your PSU dosent have an 8pin Connector. I dont know I use intel :D
LOL i got the older version of that board but with pci express ports for cfx :) I used to run dual 5870, but now only one cause that it does not support crossfire higher than 3800 or 4800 series..

What an ugly ass board. Blech!

I wish they would put VRM cooling on this board.
Heck, even a thin metal plate akin to a heatspreader would be better than nothing.
