If you're American (as I am), I'd advise that you look for the movie somewhere in stores. It has a VHS version and I'm sure that they re-released it on DVD as well. But I prefer that you look it up here on YouTube. XD
The movie is amazing.
Now, the Japanese version is just like the movie, except like I said, it's split into original segments. However, as Japan is, the JP version does contain language and sorts and yet it's probably better. Just make sure you have english subtitles. XD

You think that's hot? Some guy took Sonic, put him in Mario's world, gave it the plot of Dragonball Z (which coincidentally has been the plot of most Sonic games of late), and called it Super Mario Bros. Z.

The Japanese version was split into episodes but they actually put the episodes together in the American version and made that into a movie.
