Hi, yes it does look like the strings are missing, it must be the way the light is, and the fact that me and my dad re-strung it the day before and they don't show up as well when new. I assure you I always have 6 strings on my guitars, also if you listen carefully you will her a couple of mistakes where I catch the next string slightly and you can also see the strings slightly on the bends. I would never pretend to play!!
