I ALWAYS save Kaidan, but he's always the one who is arming the bomb. Does Shepard still carry Kaidan if he wasn't the one with the bomb? Because I really like that part. It says, "Kaidan, you'd have died without me."
I remember when I had to decide who would live, a strategic military base, or a civilian city. Pending a huge missile attack. One of the many Emotional events in the game. Bringing down the Sky dlc. I'm still haunted by sacrificing Kaidan.
And imagine if you Romanced anyone in ME1 or 2 that BioWare decides to add a moral dilemma. A system of human planets, or your romance.. You can only save one. Imagine how hard that will be? :P

I hope that the bad shepard would win too, but with more victims and a disordered galaxy. In Mass Effect 2 you can make sidequest after the final too. The developer would want that you can play a character often you can. I hope they make new ME Games with the background of the me saves and with a shepard who is the hero of the galaxy or a ruthless deliverer of it. :)
Great work! I rarely ever click on a tribute vid, much less watch the entire thing. I still hold that ME1 is the greatest, though I enjoy ME2 for what it is. I know they're putting a lot of time into ME3 but i don't think any video game story will compare to ME1.

And I agree with Icromy, this song helped make the game what it is. Without it, defeating Sovereign wouldn't have felt like such a victory. The epic space battle outside was the icing on the cake. When Wrex and Garrus were found by Anderson and the C-Sec officer, and you could see Anderson asking what happened to Shephard, and Wrex just looked to the ground and shook his head, I was devastated. Then you saw Shepard alive and well, and.... well, it was just awesome.
@Falcar13 Yeah, you need a maxed out charm skill and have to choose the right dialogue options. Saren temporarily regains control of himself from Sovereign, and you manage to convince him to blow his brains out.

It's too bad the Faunts weren't back in Mass Effect 2, but hopefully Bioware puts a new song of the Faunts in Mass Effect 3. IF THEY LOVE THEIR FANS THEY WILL ANYWAY!
I'm assuming its the PC version, because the frame rate is really slow and the 360 version was a lot smoother then that. IT was especially more smooth once you installed the game onto the hard drive.
I think Mass Effect 1 benefited from the hard drive install option more than any game. Highly recommend when you play Mass Effect 1 you install it to the hard drive. Hell, I do that with every game I play now.
Just finished ME1 (a few years late i know but at least i can move on directly to ME2 without waiting :D) on the PC version, and i did notice its not always smooth, which is a bit annoying since my PC is really overqualified to run this game.

Maybe after the Trilogy is done and they expand the universe more after ME3 you'll get to play a Turian, Asari, Krogan, Drell, ect. Just wait and see what they do with it after ME3.

I feel kind of out of place. Everyone really liked Shepard - I was kind of disappointed. The voices for both the female and male Shepard seemed to lack emotion/personality, and that bugged me. I realized they're military-ish characters, but I still would have liked some emotion. We needed more lines like, "It's a big, stupid jellyfish" in there.

I really liked this video. I just think that it's too bad the quality of the encode and resolution is so low. In the beginning you "HIGHLY recommend watching it in high res." but I can only see 360p & 480p...

Have you got Windows Live Movie Maker? Its easy to use and all you got to do is download a few vids. Put them together etc and you could make a vid like my ME2 Tribute =). Or better ;P.
lack of editing materials isn't my issue at all. I've made 3 vids with Windows Movie Maker successfully. My issue is that I can't take video footage of my playthroughs since I have an Xbox 360, unless I filmed what was on the tv with a digital camera, which is stupid.
Oh I see what you mean. I tried finding out how I can film for example me sniping on MW2 etc like. Or doing walkthroughs like you said. Still can't do it though =P

You know how to make it! What was Wrex's armor at the end? I've never seen that before. Is this done on the computer cuz if it was, I'd say it's a mod.
its not a mod its a geth armor which is impossible to get well very hard but its called battlemaster which is blue, rage which is red and beserker which is green
on the citidel the shop keeper morlan something like that sells a geth armory license and then i got it by buying it from the quarter master on the Normandy
Only a bit to much make up acctualy, wich shows up weird in some camera angles + lighting, compared to the creatures you can make, and the fact that you can't see how your char will look in normal game cut scenes (wich are never in the same light and postion as the char generator one) she quite good looking.
The ingame information regarding the citadel says there's a layer of atmosphere around the station, bit like a membrane coating, I can't remember how large it is but I think it's only a few dozen metres high. I suppose this is how they don't all die. Just speculation though.
Look at it this way. If the entire station is connected, an opening anywhere could cause problems. Most likely the Citadel has automated shields that activate if there's a rupture.
cool vid, but should've been done on higher graphic settings...oh and in ME2 you will start at lvl1, the game uses your saves only so that characters you killed off wouldn't appear...
mass effect is probably the best single player game I've ever played n still playin it even though i beat it three times. i gotta make my character a Paragon and complete every mission n assignment to see how it effects the second Mass effect when i use the profile 4 it. the second one will use your data from the first. Im glad cause i dont have to level up to 60 again.

Love seeing a female Shepard in a video this cool, with this perfect song... I know everybody sees their character and feels like that's how it should be, but Jennifer Hale's voice is just so awesome that even if I weren't a girl I'd like playing female better, and I know a few guys who think the same. Well, whichever you play, awesome game. I love that Casey Hudson confirmed we get 3 male love interests to choose from this time... I wonder how many of us will stay faithful to Kaidan!

Cool vid, one of the best I've seen. Only problem is you didn't include the "I'm still alive, bitches" smile as Shepard walks toward the camera after crawling out of the wreckage. Still awesome, though. JAN 26 can't get here fast enough!!

its not a mod its a geth armor which is impossible to get well very hard but its called battlemaster which is blue, rage which is red and beserker which is green

on the citidel the shop keeper morlan something like that sells a geth armory license and then i got it by buying it from the quarter master on the Normandy

Only a bit to much make up acctualy, wich shows up weird in some camera angles + lighting, compared to the creatures you can make, and the fact that you can't see how your char will look in normal game cut scenes (wich are never in the same light and postion as the char generator one) she quite good looking.

The ingame information regarding the citadel says there's a layer of atmosphere around the station, bit like a membrane coating, I can't remember how large it is but I think it's only a few dozen metres high. I suppose this is how they don't all die. Just speculation though.

Look at it this way. If the entire station is connected, an opening anywhere could cause problems. Most likely the Citadel has automated shields that activate if there's a rupture.

cool vid, but should've been done on higher graphic settings...oh and in ME2 you will start at lvl1, the game uses your saves only so that characters you killed off wouldn't appear...

mass effect is probably the best single player game I've ever played n still playin it even though i beat it three times. i gotta make my character a Paragon and complete every mission n assignment to see how it effects the second Mass effect when i use the profile 4 it. the second one will use your data from the first. Im glad cause i dont have to level up to 60 again.

I have played this so many times. Im playing it right now on Xbox360 with Sheapard as a soldier and he was born on Earth and he is a warhero. He is taking the place of another character I made too ugly.

First time i played the game, i accidentally wound up killing him when.... you know....
i said out loud "Fuck no, im gonna save wrex", reloaded a previous save file and saved him ;-)
