Also, I've ment those are my favourite ones, ones I love playing through over and over, I have playe alot of "good" ones, but they'rer not ones that I want to re-play, unless you count the Shakugan No Shana games, The Vampire Knight game, Haruhi games etc, But I'm talking about games that AREN'T from an anime. ZUN did help make the first anime episode. His name is literally in the first 30 seconds of the show. He never finished it and it's been confirmed that he's not. Look up touhou anime project episode one.

You probably mean one of those fan-made Touhou anime episodes some folks in japan made.

This RPG, like those fanmade anime episodes, are based on a series of vertical shooters and a variety of other games, made mostly by one man in Japan, ZUN.

Just do a google search for Touhou Project and the wikipedia article should be the first result.

I just got this game after beating the Touhou 1-12.3 and I can't find a patch or something to fix the crash at the beginning. I get through the intro movie and the girls are talking to each other, and not even 10-15 seconds in, it crashes at the same exact spot. Someone PM me a fix if there is one. Love the gameplay I see in this video. If you never uploaded this, I wouldn't know what comes after the part the crashes for me. Can't wait to play it more ^_^

There's even a standalone expansion that includes the full game.

It shouldn't be that hard to find.

i figured as much, i only asked because i downloaded it, got through the opening movie, and in the first alice/reimu conversation it crashed. it's done that quite a few times now, always in the same spot, and i wondered if i just got an incomplete version or something. can you maybe help me fix this problem?

All right. Then i can tell you how to do it. Go to Regional and Language Options in your Control Panel.

Then go to Languages tab, and check

"Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages (including Thai)"

and

"Install files for East Asian languages."

You'll need your XP disc to install them though.

Or you can probably download the Japanese Language Pack from Microsoft.

Just search google for "Japanese Language Pack".

Touhou 10 is Mountain of Faith. Shoot the Bullet is Touhou 9.5 and was made by Team Shanghai Alice, in other words, ZUN. And it's not a shmup, just looks like it at first.

Usually the problem is that you need to download the japanese text, or the game will crash because of the lack of japanese fonts. This goes for every Touhou game.
