I found that Innocence was a much more powerful story than the first GITS film, specifically because it primarily focused on the character's emotional states and not necessarily the action. There was a wonderful balance of drama, action and suspense in this one that Hollywood films could never emulate. The action itself was a product of the story, not the other way around...which is the entire GITS anthology's strongest point. Best anime/manga series ever in my opinion.

I agree. If you ask me the GitS franchise goes above and beyond anything else out there. There are very few movies, books, music or other forms of media that move me and make me think as much as Ghost in The Shell does. It really is beautiful and for those that "get it", it's a sublime experience to watch it.

GITS is not realy the tipical "kill em all" anime, and not the tipical one where most f the "show" and "action" is characters saying "aaaaaaaAAAAAAARRRGGHH" then for a change: "AAAAaaaa,,wooooOOO"

thisone has STORY,it has a deep meaning, it teaches a lot.

it is superior,its EPIC, it has ALL what "hollowood" can only dream of.

GITS from 1995 was an amazing anime. I enjoyed it really. But this "Innocence" is such a piece of crap, that I almost vomited on the TV. It is so fucking dissapointing after original gits that I can't even describe. 98% of the movie goes without action. They speak through 98% of the movie. But the worst of all is this fucking brain killing music which mostly reminds me of a dying cat whoes leg was ripped of. This can'T even be called a music. What a fucking noise is this? Horrible!
