A strangely fishy perspective of the outside world . . . and I like it a lot. I got p***** off, too, about the rush. Mainly when I heard about America's proud moment the day after Thanksgiving. This reminds me of how much better it feels to completely submerge myself under the bathwater when there's too much chaos outside. Thanks for another goodn' Ray. :)
Who needs computer effects when you have a little blue bottle at your disposal. This is clever as hell, Ray, love the photography work here! That bit that starts at 2:50 where the water shimmers to the beat of the music was excellent. This video goes straight to my favorites!
Back of a spoon?? LOL! When I was on vacation this summer, I was sitting at the breakfast table at the hotel, I noticed a reflection of a ceiling fan in the back of my spoon, I picked up the spoon and moved it back and forth until the fan was directly behind my head..I looked like a human windmill ;) I played with the image for a half an hour. Wish I had my camera!!
I find humor in the fact that people in the pub might have been thinking..."Why's that fellow shooting video thru a bottle?" "Didn't he read the instruction manual? That won't work" "Now why is he shaking that glass. Very odd & suspicious".
Should we call the police?"
--------
Ahh. The life of a cameraman draws lots of curious glances. Don-it?
BTW. My Flash Player won't work on AOL or Internet Explorer, but works on Google Chrome Browser. Monkeys must be playing with my computer when I leave the room. My computer was designed by chimpanzees!@#%
Very well done vid here R-Man. Lotsa liquidity. Looks like champagne and mercury having lunch together. While watching this thou, I was mostly wondering how it was being filmed. I couldn't figure out the camera moves. Handheld or stationary or both. Very good. We'll let it remain a mystery.
Ray it's like a moving painting! You are the master of the everyday item to make it so extraoridary. the track rocks too. I snatched it for later. I hope you and your gal had a excellent Christmas. :D
Outside, we stopped off at a coffee shop,Liz had sparkling water. I sat there not in the best of minds, when,I looked into the blue bottle that was on the table.
I like the way you create your videos using colors, forms and sounds in a nearly closed system...

Nice one Ray, I especially like that watery blue. Love how you turn the mundane on its head to create art.
All the very best for you and yours in 2009!

Oh, and about your comment above mine:
"We wee"? Is that something like a Minnie Me, or did you get a tiny dog. lol (sorry) :O)
SylphSylvan 3 years ago
LOL. I didn't notice that little slip-up(0;
It may have been the result of too many coffees, and the loo being some way away...O.O.
londonpenda 3 years ago
Thanks Cgee.
At least the mad rushing around has stopped until next Christmas.!
londonpenda 3 years ago
In hindsight, what WERE we rushing about for?!!
Were you in a cafe window and you were filming through a water jug? However you did it, very cool!:)
ajdpadbury 3 years ago
No bloody idea either Anthony.!
We wee sat outside the cafe, Liz had got a blue bottle of fizzy water, I was a bit p*****
off at all the people rushing around...Then I look at them through the blue bottle and it put them all in the right place. Crazyville.
I videoed through the bottle and the glass.
And here is the result.
Have a goodn'.

Thank you very much 64;)
The shimmering water was courtesy of Liz, tapping the table.
Just have 'look' at what's around you and 'see' it in a different way.
Have look at the world in the reflection of the back of a spoon.O.O.
