  • I WISH I HAD ONE :)

  • Try too sprinkle some grass on the suction side! And videotape it

  • Use it as your kitchen extractor fan and it would suck your things too!

  • What's the diameter of the propeller?

I need another fan for air circulation in an industrial aplication and so far I managed to "solve" the problem with a 1800 cfm/hour centrifugal fan but still there's more needed!

I have a car fan propeller that "blows me away" turned by a driller at 2900 rpm , but I would love a big propeller like this one or at least one from a truck(I searched them and there are 650, 680 and 750 mm in diameter).

Can you "guess" what's the CFM for this propeller ?

    thanks!

  • Do my eyes not deceive me or is that 2 austin mini wheels in the background ? Just sold 3 of em on ebay and got 90$ for em, same colour as well.

  • @aly369 yeh I had a pair of them, too much rust after i got the tires off (water trapped between the tube), so I binned them

  • I want it!

  • ill buy that

  • @pumpmaster760 mmm, dunno about them shipping costs :D. it would get expensive real fast.

  • @Aussie50 i live in washing state U.S. so ya it might be expensive. But that one badass fan!

  • mmmm awesome sound love it.

loud fans are just the best

  • Does a fan move more air if it has more blades on it?

  • wow one helluva an air conditioning

  • Im interested in getting one of these for our Band. We want to use one that is large and rustic looking for asthetics but one that also can blow fairly hard, with low noise, and clean running motor so we dont get any screwy sounds in our amps. I hope this is possible because we want to send a smoke machine at our crowd full speed for a wind tunnel effect.

  • why the hell do you need that much power for a fan

  • @METALLICA1024 its a huge heavy impeller, plus the application is usually on a oil riig or mine shaft, thats where you need 4 - 6 of them ( I did a few contra-roating 2 stage units for mine shafts)

  • @Aussie50 oww thats why its so powerful!

  • 1:58 that reminds me of the wind in an airplane

  • @AcaAllertor127 I need to get around to setting both up together and run them, that would be some serious thrust!

  • @Aussie50 jet v8 jagnut to come over and add the bad@#$ heater fan triple power!!!

  • @AcaAllertor127 yeah that is a good fan (the axial one I traded him for somthing), all 3 would work really well!

  • damn yeah that will kill ya!

  • @METALLICA1024 hell yeah it would do some damage :D

the 100Hp axial fans I worked on for Flakt Woods would do the full 'slice and dice' if you got sucked inot the duct!

  • @Aussie50 no kidding!!!

  • loud fan!

  • Good LORD! I want one of those!!!

  • Wow! This is a monster! Is the motor 2-pole 3600rpm or 4-pole 1800 rpm? With the wind generated blowing back over the motor, no wonder it runs so cool!

  • its a 4 pole 1425Rpm motor, and as you mention, they need to be ran in an 'Air over" configuration to stay really cool.

Being Australian spec 240V 50hz, our 4 pole motors run slower than US 120V 60Hz motors

  • Scary !

  • cool. mount them both on the back of a cart and see what happens.lamo

  • That is some serious fanage!!! lol..good vid.

  • My goodness that fan has power very nice.

  • wow thats a beast ! love it !

  • holy crap its a jet engine lol

  • must move alot of air!!! deos it?
