Thanks, yes the armatures are aluminum. Replacement parts out of armature wire with epoxy bones, that have round brass stock on their ends (so the set screws have something to bite). Cuppa Coffee helped us out by fabricating the armatures, based on a design I gave them. Having the arms out of the side rather than top means the arms are just arms, they don't "kinda sorta" function as shoulders, too. Keeps it easier (I find).
