how come most of the crap airlines hav crap safety things with real people, but the good ones hav good vids with animated people..... havnt seen the singapore & cathay one in a wile though.....
@f6jordan Sir Richard Branson is the owner of the Virgin Group, he does not own The Virgin Australia Airlines group, he has 20% share. Brett Godfrey actually founded Virgin Blue with Sir Richard.
Interesting all the subtle changes from the V Australia one (uploaded by "newplanes") - the new colours and livery throughout, removal of 777-specific references like the "Electronic Devices Off" sign, removal of the "...and your hair is just right" joke and even changing the final 777 take-off into some kind of 777/330/737 hybrid. Also the music volume level appears to have been subdued.
@ternilapilli This video is intended for there A330-200 fleet. It is basically the same video with the new interior, livery, signs etc. They got rid of that stuff because it was too low cost and cheeky, and are moving to full service.
@starsaber100 V Australia is Virgin Australia's long haul carrier, but as of last week, V Australia and Pacific Blue will also become Virgin Australia, will be transformed into the same livery and brand, and now under the one website.
What planes have the videos in them? I've flown a new VA plane once but I'm pretty sure it was a 737 sans screens or video. I like the video though :D
@wikiwama this current one is being played on the a330. V Australia has one exactly the same as this but with there plane livery, on the 1st on January they will be showing this video when the become virgin australia.
@ellaboo347 Hey, Before Virgin Australia was renamed from Virgin Blue, V Australia was Virgin Blue's International operation name, hence Singapore Airlines restricting the "virgin" name outside of Australia. When Virgin Blue was re-named Virgin Australia it was allowed to use the name across all its brand inc. Virgin Blue, V Australia, Pacific Blue and Polynesian Blue when it was re branded.
@Abus709 They changed the uniforms, seats, some of the words, aircraft and that. But yes mostly the same, this will be played on all flights soon instead of the head flight attendant reading it out, so it is more "premium" which they are going for.
