In the manga, Luna and Artemis have both a human form, but Atemis is still male! They are not Sailor Senshi, but kind of representative from their "star" (or planet Mau, the same of Sailor Tin Nyanko who appears both in manga and anime "Sailor Stars"!). In the anime version, only Luna turns into a human (kind of a princess) in the third film.

In PGSM Chibiusa does not appear, Sailor Luna is the human form of Luna in this version, and only in this version :)

@xSaRiTzAx That is Sailor Luna. In the manga, Luna and Artemis are able to transform into Sailor Senshi, but unfortunately, they are in children and female. Yes, you heard correctly. ARTEMIS TURNS INTO A FEMALE. Chibiusa doesn't appear in this series (I don't think), so having Sailor Luna and Sailor Artemis makes up for it.

Wow... Though it's been forever since all these comments were actually made, I gotta add a few factoids. The reason Usagi is a Cancer is because Cancer's ruling planet is the moon. Just as Mokoto is a Sagittarian (like me) with the ruling planet Jupiter. Venus = Taurus, and I forget the others off the top of my head and am too lazy to go look them up. People can do that on their own anyway. =P

There is no Sailor Luna and Artemis in the manga x__x

Plus, a Sailor Artemis would go against one of Naoko's rules of Sailor Soldiers (the rule that would go against would be the rule that states that soldiers can only be girls)

However, Diana, Artemis, and Luna did receive human forms. Luna and Artemis were young adults, and Diana was a little girl, around Chibiusa's age

Nope, actually there wasn't a Sailor Luna (or Artemis) in the manga. They DID however have human forms at one point...that happened at the end of the Dark Circus arc (SuperS). Luna also had a human form in the SuperS movie.

The thing I don't like about "Sailor Luna" is that the Sailor version of her is just so hard to compare to her as a cat. The voice is completely different, the attitude is completely different...whaaat.

just to let the ones hating on Luna know, Naoko Takeuchi was the one who wanted Luna to appear in the live action, at least the human version of her. And since her wish was granted, she designed Sailor Luna's costume too for the live action. So you can thank Naoko Takeuchi for that!

@HYPOLETHA Well, this is a show so that would explain why they talk out loud since you can't hear their thoughts unless they speak it. I'm not sure if it's common to talk to yourself out loud but I'm sure everyone does sometimes all over the world.

In Japan (and I'm not sure what other countries), depending on what blood type you are, you have specific personality and character traits as well as your compatibility with other people.

@HYPOLETHA People talking out loud to themselves is usually done for comedy reasons, or if the anime/movie is about crazy people, there's that reason, but more often than not in 90's anime shows, it was done for comedy, often ending with a very serious "Who are you talking to?" line, adding a little Umph to the laugh.

Makes it funnier if someone in a show is thinking on the same or a similar level as the audience. It's a classic Abbott and Costello ploy.
