@lamissdu86190 Depends on what level or year you are in I suppose. Being a debutante doesn't always say a lot. Though I suggest to give this piece a go, but keep the right hand with only the main line and no chords or more double notes. :) Also nice and slowly, and maybe ask your teacher to help you. :) Let me know how it goes! P.S. When determint to play something, it has more chance of succeeding anyway.

@rOcKcHiCk1062 Accordingly to the sheets, after every triplet (if that is the correct wording in english for 3 notes together) of the left hand. Though if you watch my leg there you can see I sometimes ditch that and I follow more of my own way. It is nicer if you sometimes do it after two triplets or so. It also depends on the piano to be honest, some piano's need less pedalling than others. Go with feeling is what I suggest :) Experiment :)

it is played when harry and lupin are talking on the bridge, and at another part i think in hogsmeade when harry vows to track down sirius (before he knows that he is his godfather of course)

@LauraLovegood when harry's looking at his parent's picture...after he blows marge up...when he's talking to lupin about his parents...when he's talking to sirius and he asks harry to move in with him...and probably other parts too...the themes from harry potter appear lots of times throughout the movie...

@LauraLovegood I actually think it's when Harry looks into the Mirror of Erised. Like a lot of songs, I don't think the whole song got played through in the movie.

Without watching the movie, I think I'm right because a brief part of this song is in Hedwig's Theme, which was composed around the first movie, I'm pretty sure. IDK if John Williams might have slipped this melody in THEN wrote the whole song, maybe.

@giannadimou haha, no worries, they don't break that easily :p Even though when playing an instrument you are supposed to have short nails but I can't stand 'em (then the tops of my fingers start hurting). And luckily I'm not the type who cries over a broken nail either ;)

I simply love this tune - it has to be my all time favourite bit of soundtrack used in any Harry Potter film - beautifullly composed by John Williams, and makes the scenes with Harry and Lupin, Harry and Sirius and Harry and Hermione especially touching.

There are some versions that sound similar and then a few that sound a bit different, and it's all based on the skill level of the book you're using, though I believe that both were adapted by the same composer, but I could be wrong. My big note version and easy version sound quite different, but you can tell they're the same song if you know the song. But good job on this. :D

this is a different version than the sheet music that I have... and I have seen both version of this song on YouTube. why isn't there just one version, there's only one recording of the actual song on the soundtrack!

I have also noticed that there are two versions of it...This is one is from to official sheet music book, so...*shrugs* Maybe the other is made by someone else?

i'm pretty sure it's because this is the version from the intermediate book as opposed to the advanced version, because i started off with this one before i learned to play the harder one
