I have an audi and a skyline (bothe older thatn these though) I can tell everyone out there- there is no comparrison.... the audi isn't even in the skyline's shadow. I drive my skyline hard all day every day... the audi....well i can't even drive it everyday because it spends most of it's life at the mechanic getting repairs under warranty.... the skyline... never missed aveat in all it's drifting life! There was more drag races in that show and the Gallardo posted the fastest 1/4 mile time which was 11 seconds and something, only when it raced the GT-R, the driver in Gallardo launched the car with too much power, causing a lot of wheelspin, mishifted and you can actually see him setting off a bit late which caused his loss.

Anyway, I would take a 20008 BMW M3 CSL rather than a GT-R, the BMW is cheaper(52000 dolars) and it has more quality and class, the GT-R is a little expensive.

my dad got the r8 i fuckin luv it! and i got myself the gtr on release, the r8 is very very well on the road its so easy to drive but the gtr's tail will kind of fishtail at high speeds, but th r8 has a very stiff steering column so i you cant make quick turns, so i guess its better fur speed. and by the way the gtr does 0-60 in 3.8

i talked to a guy at a nissan dealership about the GTR. he said its a bunch of bull that using LC will void the warrenty. because

1. it is part of the car nissan shouldnt have put it there if it'll void warrenty

2. if nissan doesnt feel the car is reliable they should have never produced the car

he told me that they'll fix it under warrenty but charge atleast half+ of labor.
