I like this version better than the model 1 version. The model 1 version has too much craziness with the logo's and the music isn't as good as version 2, but both versions are very decent.

This is recorded with the actual hardware, as are all my videos. The CDX makes a great system to record videos from since it's so portable. Check your local thrift shops...I found my CDX for $15!

this is from the second ver. the one that went on the side of the sec. genesis i had it a few years a go and sold it, but all of the games now are able to be emulated on a pda cell phone now........its kinda weird looking at a sega game on a psp or a cellphone and thinking this system took up half my room and all my outlets just to play

This is a kickass theme!!! If only there were more Sonic games on the Sega CD, and if this went all the way up with the Saturn and Dreamcast, that would've been awesome. Sonic CD was the best game since Sonic 1 on the Genesis in my opinion.

TBH I think Sonic 1-3 and Knuckles, Sonic CD/Knuckles Chaotix, and Sonic Adventure 1 are the best Sonic games.

Sonic 2006 was the closest we would get to another Sonic Adventure Game that actually was good.

"Attract Mode" is a term originally from the days of arcade machines, where a looping demo of the game along with an animated logo would play on regular intervals while the machine was inactive (not being used) in an effort to "attract" people to play the game. Some of them are very intricate and memorable. The original Street Fighter 2 attract screen is one that I remember fondly, along with others.

Sega CD has its fair share of games. While it wasn't worth buying back in the day for the high price, it has quite a few great games like Snatcher.

it actually had more to do with Sony wanting all the royalties of the games for the add on and Nintendo going behind their back to make a deal with Phillips (a HUGE disgrace by Japanese cultural standards). I think Phillips wanted to make a multimedia system anyway, so Nintendo just licensed characters rather than release their own add on. I wish the dumbasses would've stuck to CDs for the N64, maybe it wouldn't have sucked so hard.
