Among the finest cars I own. Detailing is superb, and the lighting is very authentic. I run them with one of my MTH K-4 Pacifics, and even standing in the station, the train looks great.
I just got a call from Con-Cor this past Tuesday, January 19th letting me know that the Coach/Combine 2-packs were coming in and should ship out at the end of last week/early this week! I can't wait!
The cars are well made, the overall dimensions are spot on and the paint on my pre-war PRR cars was very well done. The auto-adapting DC/DCC interior lighting is a very nice bonus.
The only flaw I found with the four cars I received was that the coupler height was low. I replaced the included plastic knuckle couplers included with Kadee #148 (#5 equivalent) whisker couplers and while still just a tiny bit low (less than half a millimeter) I havent had any operational problems since.
I have 2 NJ International PRSL MP-54's complete with trolley poles. But these look very nice as well. But if I bought any of these they would have to be self-propelled.
I received both reserved sets of Pre-war PRR mP54 coaches in Sept. and I thought they were fantastic!
While not entirely flawless, they look great, roll smoothly and are in my opinion the best model of a Pennsylvania Railroad standard class of coach ever produced (outside of High-end Brass Models).
