You know whats funny. You transition to use what you got to get what you want right?? This transition is an object to you. Men are a object to you. Weather your trangender, straight bisexual or lesbian you'll always be the same person. So, you might as well stay female and get married to men. This is what life is all about. It doesnt even matter. LOL!!!!!!!
Could you tell the equalities officer about the NHS in Wales? Wales is basically a black hole for trans people - the NHS won't fund anything trans-related there, which is awful. I've known trans people who've had to move to England/Scotland just to get treatment! Maybe having a GIC in Cardiff would be useful.
Hey man - good to see some news from you - been ages. In terms of the meeting it would be good to see some kind of action plan regarding the funding within the PCTs. They have an document (it's up on gires) produced centrally giving guidelines to NHS practitioners which is actually really good. Problem is that devolved power to the PCTs means it is rarely acted on and it comes down to postcode lotteries and a luck of the draw approach. Would be good to see one standard practise for all PCTs
