I find that the pace and tone are wonderful for my 7-year old to practice with. Watching the violinist play also helps my child keep his bowing correct. I thank you for posting these videos...they are a great compliment to what his instructors are teaching him.

Your bow has a tilt you might want to fix, and hold the violin higher..

Bows should have a tilt, and regardless is a style of playing not a correcting factor. 2ndly im sorry he doesn't seem to have any issues playing the instrument at the "height angle" that its at. Or maybe after the near 9 years of playing the instrument; ranging from chamber to symphony orchestras, i don't know what im talking about.

@luckyeightdicer Holding the violin higher helps with higher positions, and correcting the bow tilt gets a nicer sound. Also it's spelled refrain.
