I LOVE Max Factor mascara too!!! It's my absolute favorite!! Makes my lashes sooo long. I can't believe they're not going to be selling Max Factor in the USA next year :( It seriously feels like the end of the world is coming.. lol.

its funny over here (uk) the max factor false lash effect is the absolute double for lash blast exact same brush same shaped tube but in black its great for lifted ur eyelashes esp if ur a bit older im 38 n my lashes arent wot they used to b ive just bought l'oreals voluminous as everyone goes on about it while it does make my lashes look longer i dont get the lift xxx

It doesnt when you apply it but after a few min it does harden them! :o) I hope you like it! :o)

What's the difference between a mascara base and mascara primer? I only have the primers. Some of them don't dry clear and frustrate me when the white shows thru'.

They are pretty much the same thing- the primers and bases both prepaer your eyelashes for the mascara!

i just got the mac plushlash , and i gotta say , i really like it. it looks like u have false lashes. i really thought that mac wasnt good when it came to mascaras , but i may be wrong.

Shiseido mascara base makes any mascara Work, i absolutely LOVE that product.

it is awesome- using it every other day is the best way to use it so it doesnt build up! :o)

the lady also told me that it conditions the lashes. I have to use the Clinique Take the Day Off make up remover to remove it though. The best make-up remover, it removes everything even waterproof make-up.

just wanted to let you know that shiseido is pronounce 'she-SAY-doe' NOT 'she-SHAY-doe.' i'm not sure why some pronounce it the 2nd way - there's no other 'h' that would imply a 'SHAY' sound.

Hah, I like brown mascera for natural day looks, but I really need to start hiding them. There's nothing worse then getting your makeup all done, and grabbing the wrong mascera and putting brown with you nice smoky dramatic look

I figure black works with everything I just use a more lenghtening durring the day so it isnt so think and dark- but they are all black! :o)

Great video! I highly recommend Cover Girl Last Blast as a base and then add Fiberwig- Phenomenal! Both of my favorite mascaras!

Me too! I know Fiberwig is sold only at Sephora. Its a tubing mascara that has fibers. It comes off really easy with warm water, unlike Too Faced Lash Injection. It takes a few tries to the hang of how the fibers work on your lashes but I love the mascara. Its also great for bottom lashes. Some people don't like it because it really only adds length but I just tried the combo of LBlast and Fiberwig and I love it.Two favorite mascaras in one! Let me know how it works for you :)

I love CG lash blast. It is my all time favorite mascara. I always like to try other mascaras just to try new things, but I always go back to Lash blast. I did try CG Volume Exact based on your review and I really like it too -especially for daytime.

I've heard so many good things about the Shiseido base, I think you've just convinced me to purchase it!

I used to use the MF mascara in high school and really did love it, but I can never find MF products around here anymore! :(
