@87Zilla02SnoPro Last year in the AMs they let the 250 2 strokes race in the 250 Class with the 250Fs at Loretta Lynn almost everyone was on a 2-stroke and at my local track almost everyone in the 250 class races 2-strokes again. I think in the next 2 years in the Pros its going to be a 450F class and a 250 2t class for the Outdoors.
Also Honda, KX and Suzuki do still make 2-strokes you just can't buy them in the US.
@skatepunkzero I don't know about Honda or Kawasaki, but if you go to globalsuzuki, the RM125 and 250 haven't been made since 2008 anywhere, just like in the U.S. The E.P.A., who, may I remind everyone, is doing NOTHING about the pollution China and India are producing, find it neccesary to try and kill the remaining 2 strokes. And they are even screwing with the 4 strokes now. No new LT-R450s anymore in the U.S., and the ones that were unsold were recalled.

McGrath is like the Babe Ruth of Supercross/Motocross. Hes been retired since 03, hasn't raced in Supercross since 06. Yet every new kid who is into Motocross learns about him and becomes a fan. He's inspired almost every racer and FMX rider. Hes that legend that everyone will still talk about 50 years from now, like Babe Ruth.
This is the video that started it all...in my opinion. I watched this video tons of times back in the mid to late 90's...good times. I love all the big hill jumps, but the one at 2:30 is the best by far!

@MrMotohead1 totally agree. it was more about big air, gaps, goin fast etc. Current freestyle has evolved TOO much imo. The tricks are sooo freakin technical its become desensitizing now. They are so extreme theres no grace to it anymore. Its almost to the point now where you watch cause you wonder who's gonna end up paralyzed next.

Though the EPA goes after 2 strokes because there an easy target, sine motocross is a small group compared to the Chinese factories.

dumbass dont you still see freestyle done on 2 strokes and not four strokes... They are lighter and produce more power per CC than fourstoke... Much better bikes if you know how to ride them.. 4Strokes are for amatures.

yes and no. hes actually kinda right. but since now, will democrats mainly in cali ,2 strokes are becoming past shit. they bitch at our bikes but dont care about the airplanes flying 1000's of times a day.

Hes wrong...Ive been racing motocross for 16 years Im not stupid its all I know. Anyone whos going fast these days is riding a 4 stroke and you want to know why??? TRACTION. It doesnt have a damn thing to do with democrats.
Freestylers ride 2 strokes still because theyre light and have snappy power, they dont have to deal with crappy track conditions like moto guys do. If 4 strokes are for amatures tell me how many 2 strokes you see at Anaheim this weekend. I rest my case.

I remember watching this in 1996 and shaking my head thinking MC was amazing...now bikes are better guys are going faster, the tracks are more advanced and the new tricks getting nuts. Now Im watching this video again in 2009 and am still amazed..as a rider of modern 4 strokes its hard to believe someone could actually do all that stuff on a 1993 cr 250 LOL . The man is still kicking ass in retirment. Jeremy will always be the king

Mc he dominated Rc when Rc made the jump to 250 then Mc started to age and rc topped him, in my mind Rc is still faster then Bubba. Mc is the king of sx and Rc is the king of Mx.

@CustomR12 I agree free riding is what riding is all about and its way sicker then going in circles around some pre-made track or hitting some pre-fabbed ramp.You dont really see that these days its either track or fmx hitting the same ramps over and over.
