I'm looking at the comments below and they are so full of hate! If Christens, Jews or even Mormons were praying in a basement under poor conditions, there would be an uproar over the injustice of it! On PBS I have watched MANY documentaries, which describe the religious journey of individuals. Why can't Muslims do same? Muslims died in the Twin Towers just like Christens and Jews. They have just as much right to tell their stories! Stop being so closed minded! It really shows your ignorance!

@fredrika27 Firstly, Religion is an idea worth "hating", or at least being really critical of anytime someone tries to make faith and dogma seem exemplary through paltry stories like this one.

Secondly, I doubt there would be an uproar at all from anyone(like me of course) about Christians or Mormons praying in a basement under poor conditions, after all, it is THEIR choice. JUST DON'T ask that I re-frame from criticizing their delusions when PBS shoves them on my subscription wall.

@JulieRebu07 islam doesnt restrict their believers to pray in a "good" place. if you know what i mean. its ok to pray anywhere as long as it is free from hadas (things that cancels ablution). i'm sorry, i don't know how to translate hadas to english

@kaanmp you made strong conclusion. people can be rebellious in a lot of different ways for instance if our parent tell us that dont do drugs and we want to do drugs then we will be rebelious.
