Haha thanks, was great to meet them. Was stood with them talking for about half an hour or so, but stupidly didn't get my photo taken with them! I honestly think that they're going to go on to big things, they look and sound good as a band and they really are top people. They said that they're doing their own small UK tour sometime around February next year so I'll certainly be getting tickets then!!
Haha they're ace. I was asking them if there was a record company on the cards and they were saying they've sold over 4000 albums just off their own back so they're doing ok without beign signed. About the bottle they basically just said how terrible it was, but also said that it happened in Norway too and he came back out.
I think everyone was gutted, I couldn't believe it! I just hope that there is another tour and that he comes back to Manchester!!
Yeah I thought it was pretty impressive when they told me, and I don't think it's for sale on any music sites or anything, I bought my copy from them over Facebook if I remember correctly.
I'm still gutted now!!! Saw him in Lille early 2008 and then in Manchester in May this year and I thought the version of "This Charming Man" he did on Saturday was the best I had heard, was set up to be the perfect night! I assume you'll be getting tickets if he plays another UK tour?
Yeah good shout, it's worth getting, I love it. I was hearing rumours that this was his last tour but I'm sure he'll play another after the dates missed on this one! I hope so anyway! I saw him in Lille for the first time then when I heard about Manchester I had to get tickets and paid over £200 for two, then this time I paid just over £100 + hotels and the like so I'll deftinitely get tickets next time!!
I was standing, right near the stage but to the right so didn't actually see it happen!
I can't see him not putting any extra dates on, he obviously loves performing otherwise he wouldn't still be playing tours at 50!! I'll definitely want tickets next time but 99.9% of the people i know don't like him! I still struggle to believe that it happened, even now I just think "did we really see that happen?!"
Haha I've tried but most of mates are into crap music so there's no help for them!
I can honestly say when you actually see him properly for the first time it's incredible, before I saw him I always saw him as an idol and I've loved his music for years, when I saw his gig for the first time I was just shocked at how awesome he was, stunning performer and a great man. I just checked the Echo website, says they're trying to arrange a new date for the gig.
Yeah, there's no hope for all these chart lovers! I'd rather listen to Morrissey sing one song than watch the entire top 40!!
I checked the website this morning and it said the same, and that buyers will get a refund, I've just got to rely on the honesty of some punter on eBay who I bought the tickets from.,, looks like I'm going to end up £100 out of pocket!!
Yeah I really like them, have had their album since a few weeks before I saw them last time in Manchester. Met them in a bar in Liverpool after the gig the other night and they're really cool people too. I really wish that tosser hadn't thrown it, that version of This Charming Man was probably the best song I've ever heard Morrissey perform live, was unbelievable! Gutted though!!
Ha ha Adam I'm the same , only I don't know anyone you likes him..lol You ether love him or hate him, me I think he is God.
On the "throwing incident" I have viewed the video time and time again and read all the forums talking about it and the question remains, Why???
Morrissey loves his fans, and your right he must love touring to still be doing it at 50, after all he doesn't need the money.
Does any one know any more about it now.?? ???

i'd never heard of them before that gig, but they were so good, and when she said she was unsigned i was like 'what the hell?'
they were just amazing. i assume they're cool people. what did they have to say about the bottle?
and i was totally devastated, cried from the announcement to 2 and a bit hours later on my doorstep, was actually so gutted.
i've never seen morrissey live, he's my hero, so when that happened i was so upset
this charming man was properly amazing, will never forget it

i hope he plays the extra dates
people paid so much money for them with hotels and stuff, like yourself
we just took the car down, made a day of it and drove back afterwards so it didn't really cost us much, well about 70 quid for both tickets.
so i can understand why some people were angry about it.
yeah, deffo get tickets next time, and same here.
well we saw something hit his head, thought 'what was that' thought he would just carry on but then he didn't.

aha well my mates are mostly into like typically popular chart music, so they don't really appreciate him, even though he is amazing.
yeah, i mean i got the impression he was an amazing performer just from this charming man, we were in for a treat that time.
i got an email saying they couldn't reschedule the concert :(
but i'm deffo getting tickets the next time he brings out a tour.
