Why are the boats going so fast?

They remind me of the Mayflower for some reason. Well, not exactly but the sails on the Mayflower were really large.

I'm thinking of that b/c Thanksgiving is in a couple weeks.

Our home has trees with red and golden leaves, and a yard with jack-o-lanterns, ghosts, and skeletons.

I spent my Halloween trying to find my way out of a "haunted" corn maze for 1 1/2 hrs with a group of teens while my hubby took the 8 yr old for tricks or treats.

After about 30 min. with kids screaming and monsters jumping out in the dark, I was ready to take a goul hostage just to get him to tell me the way out.

Aww man, reminds me of this haunted trail I went on back in Arkansas. It was a bit much for me. I was ready for it to be over before the last 2 "scare attractions" when someone in charge reminded us that "They can't touch you..." and told us about someone who was arrested for decking one of the ghouls who caught that person off guard while talking on the cell phone. I called the police station the next day in defense of that person I never met and said it was a bit too much for me too.
