Chickens are feed fowl - that's it. They exist to provide food for other creatures. If you've ever owned one, you know how useless they are otherwise. They produce eggs for a while, and then they provide meat. That's IT!

Look up some Indian (the Asian kind) dishes, they barely use any tofu in their vegetarian dishes, and they're incredibly tasty. I've made several for -big- meateaters and they loved it, and didn't even miss the meat =)
