Japan should just remove the war criminals enshrined at Yasukuni. This would solve the problem entirely--Japanese officials can publicly worship at Yasukuni and other Asian countries will not have a problem with it. Japan is just being stubborn and stupid by refusing to remove the war criminals from the shrine. These war criminals should never have been enshrined there in the first place.

Interesting to see the full-length trailer for this important film. The director of the film is a Chinese man who has been living and working in Japan since the late 1980s. His intent for the film was a kind of bitter medicine, or tough love, for Japanese people in regards to Yasukuni. He feels it's time for Japanese people to come to some kind of closure about Yasukuni. However, he has come under criticism for not being entirely honest in making the film. I was referring to the fact that the US army has pillaged the village, killing many innocent Vietnamese unassociated with the Viet Cong, as well as polluting the water with the chemical Agent Orange, which had many devastating effect even after the war. Furthermore, the leader that US has elected to govern North Vietnam, Diem, was a despot that massacred many buddhist. Viet. War has also helped Pol Pot to seize power.
